Spicy Honey Wings

Sweet and tangy. My favorite. Enough for 16-20 wings.
Ingredients
By Measure
2 Shallots - Minced2 Tablespoons Garlic - Minced
1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
3 Tablespoons Ketchup
1 Cup Honey
Juice from 1/2 a Lemon
2 Tablespoons Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a small pot saute the shallots, garlic and chili flakes in a little oil until softened
- Add the vinegar and reduce by 1/3
- Add the ketchup and stir until combined
- Add the honey and butter and stir until melted
- Turn off the heat and add the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper
- Toss cooked wings in sauce
