Spicy Honey Wings


Ingredients
By Measure
2 Shallots - Minced
2 Tablespoons Garlic - Minced
1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
3 Tablespoons Ketchup
1 Cup Honey
Juice from 1/2 a Lemon
2 Tablespoons Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
 
Preparation

  1. In a small pot saute the shallots, garlic and chili flakes in a little oil until softened
  2. Add the vinegar and reduce by 1/3
  3. Add the ketchup and stir until combined
  4. Add the honey and butter and stir until melted
  5. Turn off the heat and add the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper
  6. Toss cooked wings in sauce
