Cardamom Crumb Topping Recipe
Cardamom is a spice we don't use often. Give it a try. If you don't like it you can substitute any of your favorite spices or leave it out.

A great crumb topping for coffee cakes, muffins or anything else you'd like to put it on.
Ingredients
By Measure
4 Cups Toasted, Chopped Pecans4 Sticks Melted Butter
1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 Cups Sugar
1 tsp Cardamom
1 tsp Salt
5 1/3 Cups Flour
By Weight
4 Cups Toasted, Chopped Pecans1# Melted Butter
11 ¼ Ounces Brown Sugar
15 Ounces Sugar
1 tsp Cardamom
1 tsp Salt
1# 9 Ounces Flour
Preparation
- Mix the melted butter and sugars well
- Stir together the flour, cardamom and salt then add to the sugar mixture
- Add the pecans and mix until crumbly
