2 Cups Nuts3 Cups Confectioners Sugar
1 Cup Egg Whites
1/3 Cup Sugar
By Weight
8 oz Nuts: Powdered1 Confectioners Sugar
8 oz Egg Whites
3 oz Granulated Sugar
Preparation
- Be sure the nuts you use are toasted and very finely ground.
- Mix the ground nuts with the confectioners sugar.
- Whip the whites to soft peaks then add the granulated sugar.
- Whip to stiff, shiny peaks then gently fold in the nut mixture in 4 increments.
- Pipe onto parchment into desired shapes.
- For small rounds bake at 325 degrees for about 15 minutes until brown.
- Let cool then use or freeze.
