By Measure
2 Sticks and 2 Tbs Butter, Melted1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate, Can Use Chips Instead
7 Egg Yolks
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup Milk
1 Tbs Flour
1 Tbs Cocoa
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Cups Chocolate or White Chocolate Chips
3 Cups Walnuts or Pecans, Toasted and Chopped
2 Homemade or Store-Bought Pie Crusts
Preparation
- Melt the butter and chocolate over medium heat
- In a bowl mix the egg yolks, eggs, milk, flour, cocoa, sugar and salt together
- Add the melted butter and chocolate into the dry ingredients and stir until combined
- Roll out the pie dough and place into your pans
- Divide the nuts and chocolate chips between the crusts
- Slowly pour you liquid into each crust
- Bake at 350 degrees until center is set. Top should be crackly
- Allow to cool to room temperature before serving
