Chocolate Nut Pie Recipe


Ingredients
By Measure
2 Sticks and 2 Tbs Butter, Melted
1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate, Can Use Chips Instead
7 Egg Yolks
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup Milk
1 Tbs Flour
1 Tbs Cocoa
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Cups Chocolate or White Chocolate Chips
3 Cups Walnuts or Pecans, Toasted and Chopped
2 Homemade or Store-Bought Pie Crusts

 
 
Preparation

  1. Melt the butter and chocolate over medium heat
  2. In a bowl mix the egg yolks, eggs, milk, flour, cocoa, sugar and salt together
  3. Add the melted butter and chocolate into the dry ingredients and stir until combined
  4. Roll out the pie dough and place into your pans
  5. Divide the nuts and chocolate chips between the crusts
  6. Slowly pour you liquid into each crust
  7. Bake at 350 degrees until center is set. Top should be crackly
  8. Allow to cool to room temperature before serving
