Ingredients
For The Stuffing:
1 Cup Herb Stuffing Mix
1/3 Cup Finely Chopped Apple
½ Cup Finely Chopped Onion
2 Tbs Finely Chopped Raisins
1 Tbs Orange Zest
½ Cup Orange Juice
1 Tbs Melted Butter
¼ tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Minced Garlic
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
Chicken Stock As Needed
For The Pork Chops:
4 1” Thick Pork Chops
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Preparation
- Mix together all the ingredients for the stuffing
- Add enough chicken stock to wet everything down
- Allow it to sit for 15 minutes and add some more chicken stock if needed
- Cut a slit in the pork chops and stuff
- Season with salt and pepper
- Sear in a hot sauté pan until caramelized
- Cook through in a 400 degree oven until temperature reaches 145 degrees
TIP: If stuffing seems too wet simply squeeze a handful like a sponge to release some liquid
