Sage Buttermilk Ice Cream Recipe

2 Cups Heavy Cream
2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Cups Sugar
12 Egg Yolks
5 Sage Leaves
2 Tbs Parsley
2 tsp Vanilla
Preparation

Puree the buttermilk with the sage and parsley.

Heat the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla bean to a simmer.

Temper the hot cream mixture into the egg yolks and bring to 160 degrees.

Chill and turn in ice cream machine according to manufacturers directions.
