Pound Cake Recipe

1 Cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
4 Eggs
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
1 3/4 Cups AP Flour
By Weight
226 grams Butter
200 grams Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
4 Eggs
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
230 grams Flour
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time until mixed well

Add the vanilla

Sift together the dry ingredients

Add dry a little at a time until incorporated

Batter will look lumpy until dry ingredients are added then it will smooth out

Bake at 350 degrees until done, about 35-45 minutes
