Pound Cake Recipe


Ingredients

2 Sticks Butter
1 Cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
4 Eggs
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
1 3/4 Cups AP Flour

226 grams Butter
200 grams Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
4 Eggs
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Salt
230 grams Flour

 
 
Preparation

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
  2. Add the eggs one at a time until mixed well
  3. Add the vanilla
  4. Sift together the dry ingredients
  5. Add dry a little at a time until incorporated
  6. Batter will look lumpy until dry ingredients are added then it will smooth out
  7. Bake at 350 degrees until done, about 35-45 minutes
