Joe and I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  We appreciate you allowing us to be a part of your kitchens and homes and hope you enjoy the recipes, videos and blogs as much as we enjoy food and cooking.  We all know how important a role food plays in all of our Holidays.  Each dish and smell carries memories that can take us back and we love that as much as the food itself.  For me it’s meatloaf that takes me back to the Sunday before Christmas every year when we all gathered at my grandma’s.  There were lots of dishes but the meatloaf was the star.  I never got a recipe for her meatloaf…I can’t say for certain she really had one…but Julia’s meatloaf recipe comes pretty darn close.
