1 Cup Corn Meal2 Cup Water
1 tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk
2 Eggs Separated
2 Tbs Butter
Preparation
- Combine cornmeal, water and salt and cook over high heat until it boils then turn to medium and stir until it thickens
- Add butter then egg yolks and milk and stir until well mixed
- Whip egg whites to stiff peaks and fold into cornmeal mixture
- Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees until center is set
