A lemon tart with a cornmeal "twist".
Ingredients

2 Sticks Butter - Melted1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Corn Meal
1/4 Cup Flour
Pinch Salt
1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
3 Eggs
1 tsp Lemon Oil
Zest of 1 Lemon
1 - 9 inch Pie Dough
By Weight
8 Ounces Butter - Melted11.25 Ounces Sugar
2.4 Ounces Corn Meal
1.2 Ounces Flour
Pinch Salt
1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
3 Eggs
1 tsp Lemon Oil
Zest of 1 Lemon
1 - 9 inch Pie Dough
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a sauce pot then take off the heat and stir in the sugar.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blen very well with a whisk or an immersion blender.
- Pour into a pie shell and bake on the bottom rack at 350 degrees until set, about 35-45 minutes.
