Pumpkin Pie Recipe
A great pumpkin pie recipe although I do like to substitute sweet potatoes for the pumpkin. If you don't want the Bourbon you can just leave it out and add 2 tsp of vanilla.

A Holiday staple with a Kentucky twist.
Ingredients
By Measure
1 Cup Sugar1 Tbs Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ginger
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
2 Cups Pumpkin/Sweet Potatoes
1 1/2 Tbs Molasses
3 Eggs
1 3/4 Cups Half & Half
2 Tbs Bourbon
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl mix all the wet ingredients together
- In a separate bowl stir the dry ingredients together then add to the wet ingredients
- Gently fold everything together taking care to not mix in too much air
- Pour into a pie shell and bake at 350 degrees until just set in the center (about 35-50 minutes)
