Ingredients

4 large whole eggs
1 cup sugar
12 ounces evaporated milk
2 tablespoons Kentucky Bourbon
2 tablespoons rum
1/2 teaspoon Cointreau
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pie crust

 
 


Preparation

  1. In a bowl whisk together the eggs and sugar until combined - about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the evaporated milk, salt, bourbon, rum, Cointreau, nutmeg and cinnamon. Whisk with a fine whisk until the sugar has dissolved and the eggs and evaporated milk are incorporated - about 4 minutes.
  3. Pour into a pie shell and bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes to an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean and the eggs are fully cooked.
  4. Allow to cool. Serve with Chantilly Cream.
