Ingredients
1 Cup Corn
½ Cup Small Diced Onion
1# Ground Beef
½# Ground Pork or Sausage (Optional-Can Use All Beef)
4 Strips Bacon Cooked and Chopped
¼ Cup Cream
½ Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Egg
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
Seasoned Flour or AP Flour For Dredging
Preparation
1. Sauté the corn and onions until soft
2. In a large bowl combine and mix well all ingredients except flour
3. Form into desired meatball size and roll to coat in flour
4. Pan fry in about ¼” of oil over medium heat until cooked through
5. Serve with cream black pepper gravy or a little mustard
6. NOTE: Pull off a small piece and sauté to check seasoning and adjust accordingly
