Corn pudding: An old-time classic.
Ingredients

1 Stick Butter1 Cup Diced Onion
1 tsp Minced Garlic
4 Eggs
4 Cups Fresh or Frozen Corn
1 Cup Cream
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
2 Tbs Corn Meal
2 Tbs Sugar (Optional)
1 Tbs Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
Preparation
- In a small pan over medium-high heat melt the butter and gently saute the onions and garlic until soft
- In a large mixing bowl beat the eggs until frothy
- Add the butter mixture along with all the remaining ingredients and mix well
- Pour into a buttered 9 inch square casserole or a similar sized oven-safe dish
- Bake at 375 degrees until center is just set (about 25-40 minutes)
