Ingredients
By Measure
1 Cup Milk1 Stick Butter
3 Eggs
1 Tbs Honey
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tbs Salt
1 tsp Instant Yeast
6 3/4 Cups Bread Flour
Water As Needed
Preparation
- Heat milk and butter to 100 degrees
- Mix flour, sugar, salt and yeast
- Add butter, milk, eggs and honey and mix until combined
- Add water until dough develops and knead until it passes the window pane test (gently pull the dough to see if it will thin itself out to the point of almost being able to see through it...a la a window pane)
- Let dough double in bulk then scale to desired size and freeze
- Loaves: 1 lb 4 oz
- Hamburger Buns: 25 oz
- To bake: Bake at 350 until golden and bread sounds hollow when you thump it on the bottom. Time will depend on the size of bread you are baking.
