Watermelon Sangria


Ingredients
3 Quarts Diced Watermelon
1 Bottle Rosé Wine
2-3 Ounces Vodka or White Rum
Juice of One Lime
Sugar To Taste (Optional)
 
Preparation

1.       Puree the watermelon in a blender. You will probably have to do this in batches and it works well to add some of the rosé to make blending easier
2.       Pour into an container or pitcher and stir in vodka or rum and lime juice
3.       Taste and add sugar to your liking
4.       Allow to sit for 30-40 minutes to let the foam rise to the top and the solids drop to the bottom
5.       Remove the foam and discard then strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer
6.       Refrigerate until cold
7.       Serve neat or over ice and optionally you can add a little soda water to give it a little fizz
