Turkish Coffee Recipe
Ingredients
By Measure
1/2 Cup Fine Ground Coffee
4 Cups Water
1/2 Cup Sugar (Optional)
Preparation

After getting the ground coffee from the machine pass it through the "fine" setting on the spice grinder.

Bring the water to a boil

Place coffee and sugar, if using, in the pan and stir until the coffee stops floating

Bring to a simmer over medium heat (the coffee will foam but do not let it boil)

Take off the heat for 1 minute but do not stir

Return to the heat and bring back to a simmer

Take off the heat for 1 minute but do not stir

Return to the heat for the last time and bring back to a simmer

Take off the heat and pour into cups making sure to get as much foam as possible in each cup

Allow to sit in the cup for 2 minutes to let the grounds settle in the bottom
