Lemon Bars Recipe
Ingredients
By Measure
Base:
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Filling:
2 eggs
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoon AP flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
Preparation
Base:
Mix together the base ingredients then pat into a buttered 8X8 pan (nonstick a plus!) Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Filling:
Mix together the filling ingredients then pour over the baked base. Bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool. Garish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
