Granola Bars

Ingredients
1 ½ Cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 ½ Cups Quick Cooking Oats
½ Cup Pumpkin Seeds or Sunflower Seeds
½ Cup Toasted, Slivered Almonds
½ Cup Toasted, Chopped Pecans
½ Cup Toasted, Chopped Walnuts
1 Cup Dried Cranberries or Raisins
1 (14 Ounce) Can of Sweetened, Condensed Milk

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray a 9x13 dish with pan spray then line with parchment paper. The spray help to hold the parchment in place. It’s ok of there is some paper sticking up above the rim. You can use it as a handle to pull it out.
  3. Mix all the ingredients very well in a bowl
  4. Pour into dish then press into an even layer.  I like to use a flat bottomed glass or pitcher that I spray with a little pan spray to press it down.  This gives me a very uniform layer.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are golden.  Bake longer if you want a crispier bar.
  6. Allow to sit for 5 minutes then lift out of pan and cut into desired shapes and sizes.
  7. Allow to cool then you can store in an airtight container for 3-5 days…if they last that long.
  8. NOTE: Feel free to use whatever nuts you’d like.  Almonds, pecans and walnuts are pretty standard but any nut will work great.
