Four Mustard Wings Recipe


Ingredients
By Measure
1/2 Cup Yellow Mustard
1/4 Cup Dijon
1/4 Cup Spicy Mustard
2 Tbs Dry Mustard
1/2 Red Onion - Diced
1/2 Cup Chicken Stock
1 Tbs Garlic - Minced
1/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbs Butter
Juice from 1/2 Lime, Lemon or Orange
1 tsp Chili Flakes (optional)
Salt and Pepper TT
 
Preparation

  1. Heat a saute pan and 2 Tbs oil over high heat until it just begins to smoke
  2. Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes to soften
  3. Add the garlic and cook until you start to smell it
  4. Add the chicken stock, vinegar and mustards and cook for 2 minutes
  5. Add the brown sugar, butter, juice and chili flakes and bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or until thick enough to coat a chicken wing
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  7. You can puree the sauce in a blender or leave it as is and toss to coat your cooked wings
