Bourbon Cocktail 2013

2 ounces Bourbon

6 ounces ginger beer

4 mint leaves

Small wedge of lime

Ice

This is a refreshing drink. The big variable is the ginger beer you choose. Goya makes a very spicy ginger beer I like. You choose a ginger beer you like. The sweetness also varies so adjust to taste. Ginger beer is great by itself. Over the last several years ginger beer has come on strong. If you like the peppery nature of ginger this drink might be for you.

To make the drink use a highball glass. Muddle the lime and mint in the glass. Add the ice to the top of the glass. Add the Bourbon and ginger beer then stir.
